Crescent Central Station is a six-story, podium-style mixed-use development located in Downtown Orlando, immediately adjacent to the city’s SunRail commuter station and primary LYNX bus terminal. Conceived as Orlando’s first transit-oriented development launched directly from the commuter rail station, the project delivers 279 modern rental residences above a ground-level retail component, strengthening connectivity to transit, employment centers, and surrounding neighborhood amenities.
Designed as a pedestrian-focused urban environment, the development incorporates structured parking within the podium and supports enhanced walkability through connections to bike and pedestrian pathways, nearby public open space, and transit-supportive infrastructure. Crescent Central Station serves as a catalyst for smart-growth, urban infill development, reinforcing Downtown Orlando’s shift toward density-driven, transit-connected living.
The development includes a curated amenity program designed to support an urban, commuter-focused lifestyle. Amenities feature a resort-style pool deck, fully equipped fitness center, resident lounges, business and co-working spaces, and landscaped outdoor gathering areas. Combined with direct access to transit, pedestrian pathways, and nearby downtown amenities, the project promotes a connected, convenient, and highly walkable living experience.
Role: Dan served as Superintendent for Winter Park Construction, providing hands-on, on-site leadership for daily field operations on a podium-style, mixed-use development within a transit-adjacent urban environment. He was responsible for subcontractor coordination, site logistics, safety enforcement, and quality control, ensuring construction activities aligned with schedule milestones and design intent.
Dan led sequencing for residential construction, coordinated inspections and jurisdictional approvals, and worked closely with the project management team and trade partners to resolve constructability and field challenges in real time. His leadership contributed to the safe and efficient delivery of Orlando’s first rail-adjacent transit-oriented mixed-use community, completed in 2015.
